Special Fabric Technology

Belterra’s special high-stretch polyester fabric offers 100% more material trapping resistance and 30% more impact resistance than conventional textile belts. This unique fabric provides a major enhancement in cut resistance and resistance to abnormal tension caused by build up cakes around the pulley, or trapped materials between pulley and belt. Nylon fabric has relatively high resistance to trapping, but somewhat high stretch during use. Polyester fabric has low stretch during use, which lowers its resistance to trapping. The result is a super fabric that combines the advantage of nylon ( NN ) and polyester ( PN ) fabrics.
